How To Lose 10 Pounds Fast
If you ask a group of people, many of them will admit that they want to lose ten pounds fast, and while it seems as though losing them should be easy, they can often be the hardest to lose. We’ve got 5 proven tips to help you get rid of those last 10 pounds once and for all!
Tip #1: Ignore all the starvation diets and crash diets.
It may seem like a good idea, but what these diets do is to put your body into temporary starvation – which is not the answer. Tip #2: Set a realistic goal. We recommend setting a 4 week goal, as 2.5 pounds per week is attainable without starving yourself. (The body is capable of losing about 2-3 pounds of fat per week.) To lose 2.5 pounds in a week you’ll need to create an 8750 calorie deficit or 1250 calories a day. The best way to tackle this is to Cut 600 calories out of your food intake daily, and then to burn 650 calories through daily exercise.

Tip # 3: Add exercise to your day. Take the stairs, park further away, or walk to lunch. Do whatever you can to get started, and then begin a regular workout time 5 times per week. Experts advise that you walk twice a week and go to the gym or play a sport 3 times a week, which only requires 45 minutes a day!
Tip #4: Replace all drinks with water. It sounds super simple, but avoid all coffee, soda, fruit juice, alcohol, and iced tea. If this feels too restrictive, select one beverage and limit your intake to one of these daily, since all of these drinks can be packed with hidden calories from sugar, raising your insulin levels and increasing fat storage.
Tip # 5: Eat more often. Keep your metabolism up by eating small meals 4-6 times throughout the day. Most fitness models and other experts have been using this simple trick for years. Think of your body like a fire, if you keep feeding it small meals it will burn calories steadily, while big meals tax the system and calories are burned less efficiently, adding weight to your body.
