Power Juicing for Weight Loss: An Experts Guide to Power Juicing provides much more than the opportunity to feel better. Thanks to the high nutritional content in juice, it’s one of the top weight loss tools you can use. But juicing needs to be done correctly, in order to be safe and effective for weight loss!

On pages 33-40 you’ll learn which juices provide the biggest metabolic boost. You’ll also learn how a poorly balanced pH level keeps you fat –and how juicing will instantly help you shed weight as you naturally restore the body to its proper balance. This chapter is chock full of tips, such as ‘two keys that are right in front of your eyes that can help you create a leaner body’.

While this program does not focus specifically on ‘juice fasting’, on pages 22-32 the author does discuss some tips for safely following one. It also provides options for a short juice fast, or a partial juice fast, if a full fast seems to radical for you. (That said, people have reported losing anywhere from 1/2 pound to 1 pound per day on straight juice fasts.) This chapter helps you think about whether a juice fast is something that could work for you, and next steps to take if you do get serious about it.

Overall, author Libby Sanderson does an excellent job of explaining power juicing in language that’s easy to understand — and she’s an interesting read, regardless of your goals. She also provides a section on buying the best juicer to suit your needs and help you save money.
